Our Mission ARCS ( A chievement R ewards for C ollege S cientists) Foundation Pittsburgh Chapter advances science and technology in the United States by providing financial awards to academically outstanding students who are U.S. citizens studying to complete PhD degrees in science, engineering, math, technology and medical research at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Our Impact Through our efforts, 204 young scientists have been financially supported with $2.4 million total and encouraged to follow their scientific passions, earn their PhDs, and further their scientific knowledge.
